Amphora #2

This is the second piece in the Amphorae series. In this piece the amphora is collaged and embellished with various techniques. The tactile quality of the piece is enhanced by heavy quilting, beading and embroidery.

The wall hanging combines commercial fabrics with paisley designs and hand-dyed fabrics. 

​

The color palette combines shades of brown, orange, red and gold, offset by dark turqouise and green.
